About

I saved up a bought my first camera at 13 years old, a small digital point and shoot which I carried with me everywhere.  A few years later my parents bought me my first "real" camera, an old, refurbished Canon Rebel XS.  This small DSLR opened my eyes to the world of creativity and discovery that existed in and through photography.  I began to notice the beauty of things around me and seek out new, wild places, which weren't hard to find where I grew up in Northern California.

When I went to college in Colorado I soon discovered a new passion in rock climbing.  I was quickly swept up in the vertical world and spent the next several years developing fingers of steel and getting otherwise scared out of my mind on the intimidating and committing climbs around Colorado's front range.  I was hooked and spending every weekend I could having wild adventures with my friends in the mountains.

After experiencing the joy and excitement that climbing and has brought to my life, I knew I needed to share this with others.  That's when I picked up my camera again and began trying to tell my stories.  Through my photography, I hope to inspire others to seek adventure, to live deliberately, and to find joy through real experiences.
